Clapham Junction to Shepperton River Run

Thames Path

There's all sorts of disruption to the Putney train line, so here's the new plan. Take the train to Clapham Junction (0711 train from Shepperton, takes 43 minutes, with no changes or bus replacement services). There's about a mile of road running through Wandsworth to get to the Thames Path, but then follow the river all the way to Teddington Lock, cross the river, run through Teddington to Bushy Park, cross Bushy Park to Hampton, and then by road to Shepperton (via Lower Sunbury). That's 20 miles. An alternative to the last bit would be to cross the river at Hampton Court Bridge and run along the river to Walton Bridge, and then from there back to Shepperton. That route would be just over 21 miles.
